Couldn't believe how socked in it was, but the fog can take on a whole life of it's own,,

it wasn't disappointing at all great visual effects, and it was always changing..

On the trail and the sun was shining through the timber, limbs were heavy with moss

it was so clear, Mt. St. Helens was visible 

our tracks in green :)

1/25/15 Montesano Watershed Ride

Great day for a ride, it was strangely warm,, ,,, rode 10.5 miles, in banana belt weather.

Went into the Montesano Watershed lands from the A-line then rode all the way

over to the lake and then north of it, looped and came back on the A-line. 

Some nice little climbs, good conditioning hills

Mt. Rainier, never tire of looking at that mountain

The sunset was so nice, it was a dismount and shoot moment <3

1-17-15 Broke the 10 mile barrier ...

Beat the Rain again,,, yippy ,,, oh ya, doing the happy dance, in my boots and spurs !!!!

I will post a picture a little later :)  

So #46 and I managed to get our ducks in a row and headed out on the trail today. We had some great laughs as usual.  And we managed to get 10.2 miles in this is good considering that the only trails are the Equine Loop and a series of roads, but if you know the roads you can ride a very long ways... :)

1-15-15 Swapped Ponies

       
              Due to a mystery injury, on my White Pony,  I have changed ponies,,, will accumulate miles with the Brown Pony.  Thankfully I have 2 ponies,,,,

The weather guys were right on today,, 100% rain at 12 PM,,,,, ok, that works for me and a morning ride.

1-10-15 First rides ~~

       

           Our first rides, mile wise, were pretty much unrecorded, due to them being in the arena and not on the trail, and because I am recording TRAIL  miles, I thought it unfair to try and put arena rides on my total miles. :)

On this very day one year ago,, I was in Swedish Hospital with my daughter, and she was receiving her new kidney, what an incredible gift, and blessing <3  

Now ,,, my first trail miles for 2015, came 1-9-15.....    I know, over a week into the new year and your not on the trail yet, when some of the riders already have 30 and 40 +++ miles ????   Work, work, work, differing work schedules must be the reason for this, and that is all I will say about that.

Shouted out to a fellow rider, on this day, but conflicting schedules made this a solo ride of 7.6 miles, mostly old decommissioned log road. BCH of Scatter Creek and the Olympia Chapter were working on the Equine Loop at CapFor Mima TH.
